Beant Singh received many awards during his political lifetime and posthumously for his service to Punjab and India as a whole, too many to list here. But shown here are some of those awards and acknowledgments.

POSTAGE STAMP

The postage stamp in memory of Beant Singh was released posthumously. On releasing the stamp the then Prime Minister of India Dr Manmohan Singh said of Beant Singh:

A great son of India and of Punjab – Sardar Beant Singh ji …. If our society is largely peaceful and secular today, it is only because of the courage and patriotism of people like Sardar Beant Singh ji. COMMEMORATIVE STATUE

A statue of Beant Singh stands in his home locality of Payal, Ludhiana

THE YASHWANTRAO CHAVAN NATIONAL AWARD

This award is given to persons and institutions as acknowledgment for their outstanding contribution towards national integration, democratic values, social and economic development. Beant Singh was awarded this award posthumously.

CHANDIGARH CENTRE FOR
PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS

The memorial/ centre is situated in Sector 42 in the city of Chandigarh and is a modern library and visual arts centre to promote education and the arts

RECIPIENT OF THE PRESTIGIOUS INDIRA GANDHI AWARD FOR NATIONAL INTEGRATION

This prestigious award is only awarded to persons and or institutions who have promoted national integration, understanding, unity and fellowship across religious, ethnic, cultural and linguistic groups for the furtherance of Indian culture and solidarity. Beant Singh was awarded this posthumously.
